International Congress on Aquatic Sciences in Saint-Pierre and Miquelon: second edition Sept. 23-27, 2022 Saint-Pierre and Miquelon
Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon will host the 2nd edition of the International Congress on Aquatic Sciences from September 23 to 27. This congress is, as for the first edition, co-organized by Dr. Fabrice TELETCHEA and Prof. Daniel PAULY. For this new edition, the Normandy Region will be honored: a woman from Normandy embodying her Region through her professional career, will be the godmother of the 2022 edition. In addition to the scientific sessions, this year's congress will have a major entrepreneurial dimension with the aim of promoting exchanges between local companies and those involved in the exploitation and development of marine resources in the Normandy region and Atlantic Canada. Four major themes will be addressed as in the previous edition: - Fishing; - Aquaculture; - Education and participatory science; - Aquatic biodiversity.
